First Year Orientation will be held August 22-24, 2014.

Orientation is mandatory for all first-year students.  First-Year Orientation Weekend is held each fall to introduce parents and new students to campus life and to help them become more familiar with the University of Notre Dame.   

Updated information for the Class of 2018 will be posted on April 1, 2014.

Residence Hall Move-In begins at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22nd.

Hundreds of people and dozens of departments and services are busy with preparations to welcome the Class of 2018 to their new home.  We know this is a busy time for you as well and we have some information and suggestions to help make the transition to life at Notre Dame as smooth as possible.

Student ID Card Photo and Print

When you arrive on campus, you will need both your ndID number and a valid driver’s license or passport to obtain your ID card. Your University of Notre Dame ID card is the one card that will provide access and privileges both on and off campus, including Domer Dollars, student account charging ability, libraries, meal plans, buildings, recreation facilities, etc.

Parents Program Welcome

Welcome tents on North and South Quads

Look for the Parents Program tents on North Quad and South Quad.  Parent volunteers in yellow shirts will be handing out packets of valuable information on August 22.
